The Sensory Room

At Leatherhead & Dorking Gymnastics Club, we are proud to offer a dedicated Sensory Room designed especially for children aged 4 and under.

We understand that busy environments can sometimes feel overwhelming for little ones. Our sensory room provides a calm, quiet space away from the main gym where children can take a break, relax, and regulate their emotions if needed.

The room has been thoughtfully set up with:

Soft, gentle lighting

Comfortable seating

Age-appropriate sensory toys

Tactile and calming resources

This nurturing space helps children feel safe and supported, allowing them to reset.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels comfortable and cared for.

  • "The Leatherhead and Dorking Gymnastics Club sensory room is one of those hidden gems we absolutely love sharing at Fun & Play. Designed to be calm, inclusive and supportive, this sensory space offers children a safe environment to explore movement, light, texture and sound at their own pace( whether they have SEND, sensory processing differences, or simply benefit from a quieter, more regulated play setting)."
